UN Security Council

  • May 2010: UNSC Resolution S/RES/1923 (2010) - new MINURCAT mandate in preparation for full withdrawal by December 31st 2010 (UNSC Press Release SC/9936)

  • May 2010: The Security Council decided to extend the current mandate of the United Nations Mission in the Central African Republic and Chad (MINURCAT) for two weeks, until 26 May, while options for a revised mandate are thoroughly considered (S/RES/1922 2010)

  • March 2010: UNSC Resolution S/RES/1913 (2010) - 2 month technical roll-over allowing for further discussions in response to the "note verbale" submitted by the GOC to the UNSC on January 19, 2010

  • January 2009: UNSC Resolution S/RES/1861 (2009) extending the mandate of MINURCAT to 15 March 2010
